1915(I) Children's Mental Health Wraparound Services

The State has requested State Plan Amendment approval from the Centers for Medicaid Services (CMS) to begin providing 1915(i) Children's Mental Health Wraparound Services. If approved by CMS, the CMHW services would provide families and SED youth who meet specific 1915(i) eligibility criteria access to intensive, home- and community-based wraparound services. The CMHW services status currently is as follows:

  • OMPP and DMHA have applied for a State Plan Amendment (SPA) to provide Wraparound services for SED youth meeting specific eligibility criteria.
  • Application and State Plan Amendments are both currently in the review/approval process.
  • State has submitted a 1915(i) CMHW rule for promulgation. Proposed rule is currently in the rule promulgation review and approval process.
  • Services under the State Plan Amendment are anticipated to begin in SFY 2014.
