House Enrolled Act (HEA) 1004, signed into law by Governor Mike Pence on March 27, 2014, establishes a pilot program to provide grants to eligible children for qualified education services. The Pre-Kindergarten Pilot Program will be administered by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration.

This page will provide news, information and updates on this program as FSSA and its advisory group and partners move through the process of determining which counties will be chosen to participate in the pilot.

Latest Update on the Pilot County Selection:

Statements of County Readiness may be submitted either by mail or electronically. Please see page four of the County Readiness Statement for details on how to send the statements by mail.

To submit the Statement of County Readiness electronically, email the document to Melanie.Brizzi@fssa.in.gov no later than 4:30 pm on June 30th, 2014.
