Envision Film Festival
March 1-3, 2012
Upland - The Envision film festival includes three days of film screenings, workshops and an awards ceremony. The festival honors Taylor University filmmakers and aspiring high school filmmakers whose visual storytelling explores the range of human experience with hopeful vision, artistry, truthfulness and integrity. The festival workshops and screenings are open to the public.

"Filming in Indiana was a wonderful experience."
"As part of the locations department, my responsibility is to act as a liaison between the film company and the city and keeping both entities satisfied can be a daunting task.  City personnel, police departments, residents and business owners were more than enthusiastic during our film shoot and extremely cooperative throughout the entire process. 
In Gary, IN, I sat at the chair in a Town Hall meeting where I nervously proposed to close 5 city blocks for several days in a row. To my surprise, our proposal was received with open minds. Multiple city departments came together to accommodate our film shoot and turn our request into a reality. The professionalism and adaptability of the Indiana government and residents should be commended.  Thank you for a most enjoyable and memorable experience."
