Upland - The Envision film festival includes three days of film screenings, workshops and an awards ceremony. The festival honors Taylor University filmmakers and aspiring high school filmmakers whose visual storytelling explores the range of human experience with hopeful vision, artistry, truthfulness and integrity. The festival workshops and screenings are open to the public.

International Windsong Film Festival

Fort Wayne, IPFW University, Neff Hall - 13th annual festival including features and shorts film festival for independent filmmakers that also includes such categories as documentary, experimental, animation, music video, and news format.

River Bend Film Festival
April 13-14, 2012
South Bend - We are now accepting entries for the 4th Annual River Bend Film Festival, which will be held April 6 & 7, 2012 at the Century Center in downtown South Bend, Indiana. The festival is an excellent opportunity for Midwest filmmakers and beyond to screen their shorts and features and to network with other filmmakers.  We’ve screened hundreds of shorts and features from across the U.S. and from around the world. This year we are excited to feature a unique event called 3-Fest during our festival, which show cases 3-minute short films by adults and students.
We accept entries by students and filmmakers of all ages.
Early and regular submission fees range from $5 to $25, and include student discounts of $5 off any entry.  All entries go through Withoutabox.com (WAB)
The Earlybird Deadline is October 1st.
The RBFF Standard Fee is $20, $15 for WAB. The Standard student fee is $15 and the WAB student fee is $10. For the 3 Fest,  Standard Fee is $11, $6 for WAB. $10 for Students, $5 for WAB students.
The Regular Deadline is November 1st.
Standard RBFF is $25, WAB $20. Student is $20, WAB Student is $15. 3 Fest pricing is $13 and WAB $8, and Student $11 and WAB $6.
The Late Deadline is December 1st.
Standard RBFF is $40, $35 for WAB. Student is $35, $30 for WAB student. 3 Fest…$15 for standard, $10 for WAB. Students $12 and $7 for WAB.
The Late WAB extended deadline is $60 standard and $45 for WAB. Students are $50 and $35. 3 Fest…$30 standard and $15. $25 and and $10 for students.

). We have received an Indiana Arts Grant for our 2012 festival.

Three - A Short, Short Film Festival
April 14, 2012
South Bend - A 3-minute film festival showcasing all genres of film/video in the extreme short form. "Big 3" is for grown-ups and "Little 3" is for kids.  We are accepting submissions through January 8, 2010.  Please visit our website for details.

Wet Your Pants Comedy Film Festival
April 21-22, 2012
Indianapolis - Films must be a comedy to be considered for screening at the festival. Any running time will be considered and it must have been made within the last 50 years.  Wet Your Pants Comedy Film Festival is dedicated to raising money and awareness for kidney disease, which affects thousands of Americans and their families each and every day. The festival originated in honor of Steven Pearce who worked diligently to raise awareness of kidney disease before he succumbed to its complications in September of 2009.

YES Film Festival (YESFest)
May 17-20, 2012
Columbus - The mission of YESFest is to celebrate the creativity and diversity of independent film, bringing to the screen the best from all genres: documentaries, drama and short film. The venue is good one, in a town internationally famous for its art and architecture. 
We are especially interested in seeing films by Indiana filmmakers, or films that have an Indiana connection.

Indianapolis International Film Festival
TBD - Summer 2012
Indianapolis - The Indy Film Fest returns this summer for 10 days of parties, panels and of course films - brought to Indianapolis from around the world. Hosted at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the festival will screen feature length and short films from every genre - dramas, comedies, documentaries and more. Regular screening ticket prices are $10, All Access Passes $150 - all tickets on sale and film selections and schedule announced June 16. Homegrown Hoosier Film Festival

Geek Independent Film Festival (.GIF)

Alexandria - The .GIF Festival accepts shorts, features, and trailers. We're looking for unique independent films from horror to sci-fi and every sub-genre in between. 
Submissions for this festival are free. We would love to see what you have been working on.  This festival works to promote the work of Independent filmmakers, and the cinematic creations by professional and amateur filmmakers. Tickets are now on sale for the 2011 Festival. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Alexandria Christmas Toy Drive.  Submissions are now being accepted for the Festival. Early bird deadline is August 24, and final deadline is September 15.

Bloomington PRIDE Film Festival

Bloomington - A cinematic celebration of the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgendered, queer and intersex community in Bloomington, Indiana. A program of the Buskirk-Chumley Theater, a historic downtown movie palace, the Festival features more than 20 films from all over the world – shorts and features, animation, documentaries, comedy, and drama. Social gatherings and dance parties abound at different restaurants and bars nearby, while other community organizations are involved from start to finish. Founded in 2004, PRIDE films are chosen by an all volunteer Steering Committee, and dedicated individuals create a welcoming, carnival atmosphere throughout the weekend, making it truly “Your Claim to Flame!”

Derby City Film Festival
February 17-19, 2012
Louisville, Kentucky - The Derby City Film Festival is now accepting submissions for it’s fourth annual edition. More than 1000 attendees watched 60+ independent films from five countries over three days during the third DCFF which was held in February of this year. This is the first year the festival is using withoutabox.com for submissions. WAB streamlines the submission process for filmmakers and also offers the opportunity to submit a film through a secure online screener. Also, if a film is submitted through WAB, not only will it receive an imdb.com title page (if it already does not have one), but the filmmaker can also save $5.00 off the submission entry fee  Visit http://www.withoutabox.com/ to submit through WAB or http://www.derbycityfilmfest.com/ to download the submission form.
