Joint Workforce Investment Board Plan
Four Indiana economic growth regions have formed a partnership to create one Workforce Investment Board, referred to as the New Joint Workforce Investment Board. This board represents regions economic growth regions 5, 8, 9, and 11. These combined regions comprise 35 counties and a labor force of over a million workers in both urban and rural areas. Each region maintains a Regional Workforce Board to manage programs and initiatives. The New Joint Workforce Investment Board supports regions in efforts to obtain grants and other opportunities to increase training and employment.
