New Indiana Program to Offer Free Tax Filing Services

The Indiana Department of Revenue will conduct a news briefing to launch a new tax filing service which offers free Individual tax return filing to nearly 1 million Hoosiers. This new system, called Indiana freefile, offers free tax filing services for both state and federal taxes and replaces the previous I-File system.

Indiana Department of Revenue Commissioner John Eckart will present the new program and be available for questions.

This will be a single subject briefing on Indiana freefile.
