Child Labor Training
Bringing training straight to you!
The Bureau of Child Labor is pleased to offer free training seminars covering Indiana's Child Labor laws. These free seminars have been scheduled throughout 2012.
Teleconferenced Trainings
Two seminars per month will be offered via teleconference. Teleconferences are open to single callers or larger groups sitting around a speakerphone. If you are registering a group that will participate via a single speakerphone, please only register once.
This seminar will last approximately one hour and will cover all of the same topics as a live training. We will allow and extra 30 minutes for questions and answers.

To register for a teleconference, please e-mail childlabor@dol.in.gov . Please include your name, your e-mail address, the date of the training and the time you wish to participate. If you are enrolling as a group, please provide the name of each attendee.
*Registration is required and will close 48 hours prior to the scheduled teleconference.
Corporate/School Trainings
The Indiana Department of Labor will schedule special training sessions for schools or corporate groups of 15 or more. These trainings can be provided in your facitity or by teleconference.
Please provide notice no less than 2 weeks prior to your requested date so that we have time to evaluate, process and schedule your training request.
Corporate training requests may be sent via e-mail to childlabor@dol.in.gov.

- File a complaint with IOSHA.
- Report an accident or fatality to IOSHA.
- Obtain a safety poster.
- Issue an Online Work Permit.
- Schedule a Common Construction Wage Hearing.
- Request training by the Child Labor Bureau at my place of business.
- Order a minimum wage poster.
- Order a child labor poster.
- Some statistics on fatalities, injuries or illnesses here in Indiana or nationwide.
- Learn a company's citation history.
- Learn more about the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP)
- Find out about signing up for a mine certification examination.
- Schedule an INSafe consultation.
- Contact INSafe Customer Service
- Speak to an occupational safety or health expert.
- Review current work related injury/illness statistics.
- Get updated OSHA Recordkeeping Forms.
- Calculate injury/illness rates and compare with other industries.
