Limberlost photo contest

A bee landing on a flower.

They take to the wetlands, woods and wilds every year to interpret the natural scene for a photo contest in honor of Gene Stratton-Porter, the well beloved Indiana-born novelist, photographer, poet, filmmaker and conservationist.

Photographers from all around Indiana look at nature close-up the way Porter did and then let the details shimmer and glimmer in the light. Contest judging is in the fall (details follow).
