How To Be Included on the Qualified Professional Roster
Consultants will be removed from the Qualified Professionals Roster at their request or, with respect to archaeologists, if the division director files a complaint with the Natural Resources Commission under IC 4-21.5-3-8 to terminate, suspend, or condition the qualification of a person included in the roster, where the person fails to substantially comply with the Guidebook for Indiana Historic Sites and Structures Inventory and Archaeological Sites, as prepared by the Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology.
A final order for a sanction under this subsection may be dissolved or modified by agreement of the parties or for just cause as determined by the commission. (Natural Resources Commission; 312 IAC 21-3-4; filed Jun 8, 2001, 12:30 p.m.: 24 IR 3019).

In an effort to serve our customers better and assist Federal agencies with the Section 106 process, we are updating our procedures for inclusion in our Qualified Professionals Rosters. Consultants who meet the appropriate Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards and who have expressed an interest in performing work in Indiana are eligible for the DHPA’s Qualified Professionals Roster.
Note: All current qualified professionals will need to submit the appropriate form along with an updated resume to be included on the new roster.
To be considered for the Qualified Professionals Roster, download and complete a qualification form for one or more of the five professional fields. Once we receive your completed form, we will respond in writing to let you know either that your name will be added to the roster or that we need more information. Updates to the roster will be made monthly.
