4-H Dormatories and Exhibit Hall

Accompanying their animals to the fair was always a problem for young farmers-to-be. These buildings provided dorms for living on site, school rooms so that young exhibitors would not lose valuable school time, and would have exhibit space for arts and crafts. These buildings have a simple Art Deco or Art Moderne theme to the exterior. During World War II, when many fairgrounds buildings were used by the Army as a supply and marshaling center, these buildings were used as barracks.
