The Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry owns and manages nearly 150,000 acres of forestland for the benefit of Indiana residents. These properties provide numerous recreational opportunities as well as timber products, wildlife habitat and watershed protection. There are ample opportunities for primitive camping at all Indiana State Forests.
