The Certification Section Office Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, except for state recognized holidays.

NOTICE: IDHS is performing maintenance on the Acadis Public Safety Personnel Portal.  The agency will be removing or correcting certifications with the issue date of 11/11/1111. If the certification is valid, the date will be corrected. If the certification is not valid, it will be deleted. Please check your certifications. If you need the actual certification with the correct date, log into the portal and print them.  IDHS WILL NOT BE PRINTING ANY CERTIFICATIONS WITH THE ISSUE DATE of 11/11/1111.

  • Required for ALL National Fire Academy course applications.  Social Security Numbers will not be accepted.
