First Responders can view an informational video from the Department of Transportation on using the 2008 Emergency Response Guidebook. The video will give responders the knowledge to use the guidebook and determine safety procedures that need to be taken. The 22 minute video is a great training resource for any hazmat awareness level training. The video can be viewed by clicking on the link below. There is also a comprehensive quiz (below the guidebook link) that can be given to measure what the responder learned from the video and using the ERG. The quiz is not intended to be used for state certification and is not submitted to the state. This is an internal departmental training tool.
