IC 5-2-6-18 establishes the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute to adopt guidelines and create a reporting form for the purpose of collecting methamphetamine abuse information from law enforcement agencies.

IC 5-2-16 establishes that a law enforcement agency which discovers evidence of methamphetamine abuse shall report the it to the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute. Methamphetamine abuse is defined as 1) the use, sale, manufacture, transport, or delivery of methamphetamine or; 2) a methamphetamine precursor, if it is being used, sold, manufactured, transported, or delivered to facilitate the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Indiana law enforcement agencies shall report Methamphetamine Abuse information monthly via this report form to drugandcrime@cji.in.gov.
