  • Meat and Poultry Inspection Program
    An agreement on the Meat and Poultry Inspection Program budget cuts has been met.  Changes to BOAH's state-inspection program will begin approximately February 15, 2010, with all changes to be in place by July 1, 2010.  Consumers using state-inspected meat and poultry processing facilities should contact their facility to understand the changes occuring. 

  • Commercial Dog Breeders and Brokers
    Registration of commercial dog breeders and brokers began January 1, 2010.  All applications accepted after January 31, 2010 will be charged a late fee.  Applications and more information are available on the Commercial Breeder and Broker page available here.

  • Tuberculosis (TB) 
    The third, and final, farmed cervid herd completed depopulation and sanitation.  The press release and other bovine TB information can be viewed here.

  • Influenza A (H1N1)-North American/Human Flu
