The cost of the Army Veteran license plate includes vehicle registration fees, taxes, and a group fee of $15. The group fee supports the Military Family Relief Fund.
If you are an active service member, you must provide an active military identification card and a current Leave and Earnings Statement. You will receive the plate in the mail within 14 days.
If you are a non-active duty serviceman you must provide a DD214 or other military documents issued by the United States Department of Defense verifying a veteran’s honorable discharge from the armed forces. If you have a “V” military indicator on your driver’s license, you can show this in place of your DD214 or other military documents. You will receive the plate in the mail within 14 days.
You may display this plate on passenger cars, trucks up to 11,000 pounds, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles.
