The Indianapolis Zoo is a world-class conservation organization that serves diverse residents and visitors from across Indiana and beyond. As one of Indiana's foremost non-profit cultural attractions with a million annual visitors, the Zoo fosters the exchange of knowledge and ideas as a state, national and international resource for research and conservation. Funds raised through the purchase of the license plate will go directly toward food and medical care for the animals in the Indianapolis Zoo’s collection.
The cost of the Indianapolis Zoological Society license plate includes vehicle registration fees and taxes, a group fee of $25, and an administrative fee of $15.
