ISEP > Employment > Mission Statement Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide professional and efficient law enforcement service with an emphasis on Indiana’s alcohol and tobacco laws. We work to provide a safe environment for Indiana citizens, especially youth, by promoting crime prevention, educating the alcohol and tobacco industries, educating youth to the adverse effects of alcohol and tobacco, and developing community involvement to prevent the sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors. We want to learn what the concerns of the citizens are in order to provide solutions before crimes occur. We are committed to providing advice and information to the industry, so permit holders are well acquainted with the alcoholic beverage laws and Alcohol and Tobacco Commission policies. We are committed to ensuring compliance through education, as well as enforcement action, when it is necessary.
