Mission Statement

The general purpose of the Alcohol & Tobacco Commission's work, as defined by law, are:

  • To protect the economic welfare, health, peace, and morals of the people of this state
  • To regulate and limit the manufacture, sale, possession, and use of alcohol and alcoholic beverages
  • To regulate the sale, possession, and distribution of tobacco products  
  • To provide for the raising of revenue

Notice from the Attorney General's Office -  General Jack’s Inc. brand Worth will be removed from Indiana's Directory effective February 13, 2012.  On February 13, 2012 and there after, no retailer/dealer or distributor will be allowed to sell or possess said product. Until February 13, 2012, this product is allowed to be sold below State Minimum Pricing per I.C. 24-3-2-6(b).
