Program Description

The Individual Artist Program (IAP) provides support to artists in all disciplines for career development projects. Applicants may request a maximum of $2,000. Grantees must plan a project, or phase of a project, which can be realized within the requested budget and completed within the proposed timeline. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of Indiana.

It is important to note that the IAP funds different genres each cycle, and applications are only accepted in the disciplines following this schedule:

Crafts Dance
Design Literary Arts
Media Arts Music
Photography Theatre
Visual Arts  

Folk Arts & Access Categories:

  • Folk arts and access applications will be paneled with the corresponding discipline in the corresponding year.
