The Individual Artist Program (IAP) provides support to artists in all disciplines for career development projects. Applicants may request a maximum of $2,000. Grantees must plan a project, or phase of a project, which can be realized within the requested budget and completed within the proposed timeline. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of Indiana.
It is important to note that the IAP funds different genres each cycle, and applications will only be accepted in the disciplines following this schedule:

All applications must be submitted online through the IAC's online grants system. A “physical” copy is no longer required or accepted. Please note that your online submission indicates your agreement with, and adherence to, entire Individual Artist Program Guidelines document, including its embedded website links.
All applicants and grant recipients are required to create and update profile information in the online IAC grants system. Profile information must contain the current, primary contact’s email address. IAC staff cannot provide advanced technical help for computer or software-related problems. Each eligible application will be reviewed and scored by a conflict-free panel comprised of arts professionals using the IAP's Application Review Criteria. The panel review will be open to the public and may be recorded. Applicants are invited and encouraged to attend to hear feedback.
