AOS III (Formerly Majors)

All publicity or programs must contain the prominently positioned IAC logo and the following credit line: "This activity made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency."

Grantees must credit the IAC and the NEA in printed materials, films and videotapes, electronic transmissions, and non-written announcements regarding all activities for which Commission funds are used. Grantees receiving organizational support must credit the IAC and NEA in all promotional materials.

The Grantee must credit the IAC and the NEA on the title page of printed programs, listed in the donor category appropriate to the level of financial support. Performing arts organizations that receive AOS III grants must provide 1/2 page advertising space in season programs. To request these ads call 317-232-1273 or e-mail rvanzant@iac.in.gov.

The Grantee must credit the IAC and the NEA in all educational materials distributed in association with any IAC-funded program.

Should space requirements dictate a smaller reproduction, AOS III grantees may request the IAC to provide an "alternate logo" by contacting Rex Van Zant at 317-232-1273 or rvanzant@iac.in.gov.  If the alternate logo is used, the credit line "This activity made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency," must appear elsewhere in publications and promotions, including but not limited to electronic, online, and printed materials.

The Grantee must use the IAC credit logo on their web sites along with a hyperlink to www.in.gov/arts. It should be listed in a place appropriate to the website's mapping (i.e. IAC logo on a sponsorship page with a hyperlink and/or IAC and NEA listed as additional resources with a hyperlink to both). The IAC logo must appear on the web page that corresponds to the funded project.

On television and radio appearances by the Grantee's representative, verbally acknowledge, at least once during a broadcast, the support your organization received from the IAC and the NEA. Grantee should acknowledge the IAC and NEA in any newspaper, magazine, or online interviews about your program(s).

For all grantees, a sample proving use of logo and credit is required with the final grant report.

Regional Arts Partners Program

Partners must credit the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts for funding support in all publications and promotions, including but not limited to electronic, online, and printed materials.  The IAC logo and credit line must appear as a unit and may not be altered.

The logo may be reduced to accommodate different space requirements, but it may not be reduced smaller than 1 inch at the narrowest dimension, or to the point where the credit line or the name "Indiana Arts Commission" is not legible.

Should space requirements dictate a smaller logo reproduction, the Partner may request the IAC to provide an "alternate logo." If the alternate logo is used, the credit line "This activity made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency," must appear elsewhere in publications and promotions, including but not limited to electronic, online, and printed materials.

For all grantees, a sample proving use of logo and credit is required with the final grant report.

All Other Grantees

The guidelines below are for Individual Artist Program (IAP); Regional Initiative Grant (RIG) for Region 7; Statewide Arts Service Organizations (SWASO); Technical Assistance Program (TAP) and Arts in Education (AIE) grantees.

The Grantee agrees to include in all promotion, publicity, and printed materials, prepared in connection with the funded project, the IAC logo with the following credit line: "This activity made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency."

Should space requirements dictate a smaller logo reproduction, the Grantee may request the IAC to provide an "alternate logo" by contacting Rex Van Zant at 317-232-1273 or rvanzant@iac.in.gov.  If the alternate logo is used, the credit line "This activity made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency," must appear elsewhere in publications and promotions, including but not limited to electronic, online, and printed materials.

The logo shall be prominently positioned. When written materials are not used, a public, verbal statement of credit to the IAC shall be given. The Grantee must submit to the State, upon request, copies of all publicity, photographs, and printed materials for the arts activity(ies) involved.

For all grantees, a sample proving use of logo and credit is required with the final grant report.
