This two-day conference was held at the Munster, Indiana Center for Visual and Performing Arts October 9 & 10! Back by popular demand, the conference focused on economic development through arts integration, and was presented by the Indiana Arts Commission, Ball State University's Building Better Communities and the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. Conference presenters focused on key tracks of public art, cultural districts, and historic preservation.

Grant workshops are a great opportunity, particularly if you are new to a grant category, to get your questions answered regarding the program, guidelines, and online grant system. We recommend you familiarize yourself with the guidelines and online grant system prior to attending a workshop.
The Indiana Arts Commission will partner with Ball State Building Better Communities to host an IAP grant webinar December 2, 2014 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Satellite sites around the state will provide performing artists (dance, literature, music, and theatre) with locations close to them where they can learn more about the grant program and how to apply.
Satellite locations will be hosted by Indiana Arts Commission's Regional Arts Partners in Regions 1, 2, 3, 4 5, 6, 8, and 10. Please contact your Regional Arts Partner for details on location and registration. The webinar is free, but registration is requested. The webinar will be recorded and will be posted to the IAC website for those unable to attend one of the satellite sessions.
Performing artists in Region 7 may attend a workshop December 17, 2014 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Madame C. J. Walker Theatre Center, 617 Indiana Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46202.
