The Regional Initiative Grant (RIG) program provides funding to arts organizations in order to ensure all Indiana citizens have access to quality arts and cultural activities. RIG programs include:
Arts Project Support (APS)
The APS provides up to $5000 in project support for eligible organizations (arts or non-arts organizations). This is designed to support new and existing arts projects and activities produced or presented by eligible organizations to provide general public access to quality arts and cultural activities, with special attention to underserved communities.
This program is open to private, nonprofit, tax-exempt agencies with 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in addition to Indiana public entities (e.g. part of city, county, or state government).
Arts Operating Support I
The AOS I grant provides annual operating support for ongoing artistic and administrative function of eligible arts organizations that provide quality arts activities with special attention to underserved communities. This grant is specifically for organizations that:
Have an annual cash operating income and expenses of $50,000 or more; AND

The AOS I grant provides annual operating support for ongoing artistic and administrative function of eligible arts organizations that provide quality arts activities with special attention to underserved communities. This grant is specifically for arts organizations that:
Grant workshops for the upcoming Arts Project Support (APS) and Arts Operating Support level I (AOS I) programs have been set for the following dates, times and locations:
February 3 6:00 – 7:00pm Danville Public Library
February 8 6:00 – 7:00pm Schrott Center/Butler Campus
The workshops are free and open to the public. Space is limited and you are encouraged to RSVP to email@example.com

Butler University is the Regional Partner (Region 7) of the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency, serving the people of Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion and Shelby Counties. Funding for these programs come from appropriations from the Indiana General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts, a Federal agency.
