Community Development Manager – Artist and Capacity-Building Services

This position supports leadership staff in the Programs, Grants, and Services Department in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the delivery of resources and services primarily for artists and secondarily for arts organizations and the general public in agency-defined impact areas. The position provides professional and administrative work in grant programs, conferences, technical assistance, workshops, and convenings with emphasis on supporting and advancing individual artists and small-business arts entrepreneurs. In addition, the position serves as liaison to Traditional Arts Indiana and supports senior management staff of the Indiana Arts Commission, its Commissioners and agency partners in meeting the IAC’s mission.

Community Development Manager – Arts Education and Accessibility Coordinator

This position supervises agency statewide initiatives including arts education programs such as PACE (Partnering, Arts, Communities and Education; accessibility initiatives; the Arts Organizational Support III grant program; the Indiana State Poet Laureate program; Poetry Out Loud; and capacity-building efforts for the field. The position will also support ongoing grant programs as needed and work with senior staff to develop statewide initiatives in support of the IAC’s new 2017-2021 Strategic Plan.  ​
