Interstate Lane Restrictions For

Pavement Core Boring Samples

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and contractors plan to restrict traffic lanes Sunday on I-65 and I-70 near the south split.  

 

Contractor crews boring to acquire pavement core samples will require alternating lane restrictions in both directions beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 3.  Crews will use work zone signs and illuminated arrow boards to direct traffic around work zones, which are expected to change lanes and direction throughout the day.  All ramps are expected to remain open at all times during the operation, and all restrictions are expected to end by approximately 7:30 p.m.

 

Drivers can learn the locations of INDOT work zones and highway restrictions before they depart by calling INDOT’s TrafficWise at 1-800-261-ROAD (7623) or view an online map at www.TrafficWise.IN.gov.
