Dubois County Museum
2704 N. Newton (Hwy 231 N)  Jasper, IN

A wide variety of activities this day including:

  • 10:15 a.m. - 11 a.m.:  a panel discussion led by Dr. Rick Jones with Cathy Carson (archaeologist ASC Group, Inc.) and local collectors Kenny Hochgesang and Derrick Haas.
  • 11 a.m.-Noon: Flintknapping by Mike Cooper.
  • 1-2 p.m.: Concurrent Sessions in Banquet Room: Artifact identification by archaeologists; talk with local collectors; flintknapping. 
  • All day: Visit the museum’s display “People of the Woodlands: Native Americans of Dubois County.”
