Local festival to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project

STATEHOUSE — The fourth annual Bluegrass at the Gateway Festival in Metamora is quickly approaching. This year, the Whitewater Canal Byway Association has chosen to partner with the Wounded Warrior Project to honor those who have given so much to defend our freedom.

“For the past four years, this festival has brought bluegrass music, camping, delicious food and fun for the whole family to our community,” said State Representative Jud McMillin (R-Brookville). “I am proud that our community has chosen to partner with the Wounded Warrior Project this year in a show of gratitude to our men and women in uniform. I cannot think of a more praiseworthy organization, and I look forward to joining them on Saturday to support America’s heroes and hear some great bluegrass music. I know it will be an event to remember, and I hope to see you and your family there!”
