[DNR] Back to the Future: A Mid-Century Modern Tour, Indianapolis

End Date: 5/31/2014End Time: 6:00 PM
Entry Description

Church of the Saviour United Methodist Church
6205 Rucker Road (east of Binford Blvd. on 62nd Street), Indianapolis, IN
Cost: Tour tickets are $15/person in advance, $20/person day of tour.

This tour features five private mid-century standouts in Indianapolis's Avalon Hills and Devonshire neighborhoods.

Each house features "can't miss" details. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide inspiring views from Mindy and Matthew Mayol's great room. Period furnishings, light fixtures, and a massive stone fireplace take center stage at Cori and Tim Conder's house. Designed by noted architect Avriel Shull, John and Martina Kansky's house features a dramatic butterfly roof. Mid-century furniture accents the home of Katie Runnels and Jon Graf. And Lalita Amos and Garland Borden showcase the "retro rejuvenation" of their 1958 home.
