[ISP] LaPorte Man Arrested for Child Solicitation

Entry Description

LaPorte County-Indiana State Police Detective Jennifer Richmond assigned to the Crimes Against Children (C.A.C.) unit arrested a LaPorte man today for Child Solicitation.

Early this Friday afternoon, Christopher Albin, 23 of LaPorte, was arrested without incident at his residence 808 Virginia Avenue, LaPorte on Charges of Child Solicitation a Class C Felony.

This arrest stemmed from a joint investigation with the Citrus County, Florida Sheriff’s Department Crime Against Children investigators into allegations that Albin was having an inappropriate on-line relationship with a 14-year-old Florida girl.

Albin was taken and incarcerated at the LaPorte County Jail.

Assisting: Indiana State Police Sergeant Alva Whited, Sergeant Jeremey Chapman, ISP C.A.C. Detective Tracy Kunstek, Detective Mark Brletic, Trooper Ricky Rayner and LaPorte City Police Department

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
