STATEHOUSE (March 1, 2013) – State Sen. Luke Kenley (R-Noblesville) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse as Senate pages in February:

• Nick Demetrion, from Fishers, attends Westfield High School

• William Anderson, from Noblesville, attends Noblesville West Middle School

• Aaron Coulombe, from Westfield, attends Westfield Middle School

• Cole Baker, from Carmel, attends Creekside Middle School

• Peter Ciravolo, from Carmel, attends Carmel High School

• Christie Hanna, from Noblesville, attends Noblesville High School
 
• Nick Hanna, from Noblesville, attends Noblesville Freshman Campus

• Meghan Duffy, from Carmel, attends Carmel High School

• Spencer Shrader, from Westfield, a homeschooled student

• KyLeigh Kimbrell, from Noblesville, attends Hamilton Southeastern High School

• Shelby Riley, from Trafalgar

• Mike Pitz, from Carmel, attends Clay Middle School

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the chamber floor and interacting with their state senators.

“It was encouraging to see so many young people from our community serving as pages and participating in their state government,” Kenley said. “Being so close to Indianapolis affords these young men and women an incredible opportunity to be involved in the Statehouse. I’d be happy to have all of them back and hope they felt this was a valuable experience.”

Students in grades six through 12 can participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays through April 4.
