STATEHOUSE – “I am pleased with Gov. Pence’s appointment of Mary Beth Bonaventura as the Director of the Indiana Department of Child Services. As a Juvenile Court Judge in Lake County, Mary Beth has first-hand experience dealing with DCS cases.”

“Bonaventura has been a Lake County resident all of her life and since being appointed to the Lake County Court in 1993, she has received numerous awards from both judicial and community organizations. She is a well-respected community leader and will be a valuable asset for the DCS in helping to protect Hoosier children from abuse and neglect and provide safe, nurturing and stable homes.”
