[ISP] Former Union County EMA Director Arrested

Liberty – Yesterday former Union County EMA Director Dustin Glisson, age 29, of Liberty, was arrested on a warrant for Class “C” Felony Theft and Class “D” Felony Official Misconduct. He was lodged in the Union County Jail in the culmination of an investigation that began in November of 2012.

In November 2012 investigators were contacted at the Pendleton Post requesting an investigation into allegations that Glisson had misused EMA property by selling it for personal gain. The investigation was completed and turned over to Union County Prosecutor Ron Jordan for his review.

A warrant was issued for Glisson on February 13th as a result of the investigation. Glisson had resigned his position as EMA Director in November at the start of the investigation.
