Entry Description
Connersville – Last night shortly before 11 p.m. Trooper Scott Mcpheeters was working crash reduction patrol on State Road 44 on the east side of Connersville. As he entered Connersville west bound, he observed a car coming east bound with a headlight out. He turned around and stopped the vehicle to let the driver know they had a headlight out.
After stopping the car and speaking to the driver and passenger, Mcpheeters became suspicious. Trooper Aaron Edwards was close by and stopped to assist. Further investigation revealed the subjects possessed a small amount of Heroin and Marijuana under 30 grams.
Arrested was the driver, Zackory C. Becraft, age 20 of Connersville, and his passenger, Gayge Armon Isaacs, age 19 also of Connersville. They were lodged in the Fayette County Jail on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Class “D” Felony, and Possession of Marijuana, Class “A” Misdemeanor.
