Entry Description Indiana State Police have received several media inquiries about elephants being at the crash scene on I-70 at CR 725 (Bottom Road) in Hendricks County.
ISP has learned that a semi tractor and trailer hauling three elephants slid off the roadway at the crash scene. The elephants were not injured.
The elephants were off loaded the trailer by the trainer, the trailer was pulled back onto the roadway, and the elephants were reloaded back into the trailer.
The elephants were never loose or running free.
The semi-tractor, trailer and elephants have left the scene |
