Corydon-Shortly after 3:00 am this morning, Trooper Patrick Stinson attempted to stop a 1998 Ford Ranger pickup truck on Gardner Lane in Corydon for a traffic violation. When Trooper Stinson attempted to stop the Ford Ranger it sped up and turned out its headlights in an attempt to evade the pursuing trooper. The Ford Ranger then entered into an auto sales dealership on Gardner Lane and was travelling in between the rows of cars on the lot. The Ford Ranger exited the car lot back on to Gardner Lane, travelled a few hundred feet, and then left the roadway into a field, travelling a few more hundred feet before the driver fled the vehicle on foot.
