Entry Description
Crawfordsville-On January 19, 2013 at approximately 5:45 p.m, a suspect was taken into custody and charged with six counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor all of which are Class B Felonies.
Senior Trooper Detective Stephen Buckley with the Indiana State Police Criminal Investigation Division advised that Donald D. McCalment, 53 years old from Crawfordsville, IN was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on Friday. The six felony charges stem from an investigation by Detective Buckley that was started earlier this month. The investigation alleges that McCalment had had sexual contact on several occasions with a child under the age of 18 years old for approximately two years. Bond has been set at $10,000.00 surety or $5,000.00 cash.
Assisting with the case was Montgomery County Division of Children and Family Services, Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.
