Entry Description

Bartholomew County: Earlier this afternoon a crash involving a truck hauling logs caused traffic problems in I-65. According to Colonel Mark French, shortly after 1:00 p.m. a 2006 Ford F250 pickup truck pulling a trailer loaded with logs was traveling northbound on I-65 near the 77 mm when the trailer began to fishtail. The driver, 32 year old Jacob Kreinop of Freetown, IN, lost control and the trailer separated from the truck and overturned and logs were scattered over the roadway. Although the truck was not damaged, the trailer sustained damage and travel was restricted in the northbound lanes of I-65 for over two hours while the scene was cleaned up. No one was injured in the crash. Assisting Col. French was other state troopers, ISP Motor Carrier Inspectors, and Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department.
