[ISP] 346 Impaired Drivers Arrested During Statewide Enforcement Campaign

Entry Description
Friday and Saturday night, September 14th and 15th, between 7:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m., Indiana State Police conducted a statewide enforcement campaign targeting impaired and dangerous drivers.  Troopers throughout the state arrested 346 impaired drivers, issued 4,105 traffic tickets, 6,646 written warnings and made 360 arrests for various criminal offenses.

Indiana State Police Personnel throughout Indiana were assigned to this detail to aggressively seek and arrest impaired drivers.  Motorists are reminded to dial 911 to report suspected impaired drivers.

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
