Knox County – Indiana State Police Special Investigations Detective Chris Cecil initiated a criminal investigation on August 21st after receiving information that Anthony Gene Childers, 25, of Vincennes, allegedly had child pornographic images on a computer he pawned earlier in the year.

During the course of the investigation, detectives from the Indiana State Police and Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force determined Childers had possessed hundreds of images depicting child pornography on his computer before pawning it at Piggy Banc Pawn Shop in Vincennes.

Wednesday morning, August 29th, members of the Indiana State Police, Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Vincennes Police and Knox County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at Childers residence located at 621 North 6th Street, Apartment 2, in Vincennes.  During the execution of the search warrant, investigators discovered an active meth lab, a small amount of meth and numerous used one-pot meth labs.
