Indianapolis Traffic Restrictions Update

NORTH SIDE:

• US 31 in both directions will have right lane restrictions approaching 106^th Street between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Monday, August 13 and 116^th Street on Tuesday, August 14 and Wednesday, August 15.

I-465 & Allisonville Road Interchange:

• The Allisonville Road entrance ramp to westbound I-465 closed on Tuesday, July 31 for 15 days to reconstruct segments where the new and existing ramp alignments overlap.
• The Allisonville Road entrance ramp to eastbound I-465 closed on Thursday, August 2 for 15 days to reconstruct segments where the new and existing ramp alignments overlap.
• Allisonville Road bridge over I-465 was closed for reconstruction on Wednesday, May 30 for approximately 110 days.  Through traffic on Allisonville Road and left turns at the interchange remain prohibited until construction of the new bridge is complete.  Right turns exiting the interstate remain open.
• A 45 mph work zone speed limit on I-465 approaching Allisonville Road in both directions is in effect when signs are flashing during working hours.  Drivers should reduce speeds on I-465 and the narrowed Allisonville Road ramps.  Drivers should be alert for construction workers in the area, heavy trucks entering and exiting the roadway and Indiana State Police patrolling the work zone.

I-69 Operation Indy Commute

• I-69 will have temporary overnight stoppages of less than 20 minutes between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Saturday, August 11 (southbound), Wednesday, August 15 (southbound), Thursday, August 16 (northbound) and Friday, August 17 (northbound).  This schedule is subject to change, and motorists in both directions should expect possible overnight stoppages through August 18 as beams are set at the new flyover ramp to State Road 37.
• I-69 northbound is restricted to two lanes beginning at Exit 205 to 116^th Street and SR 37 for construction of a two-lane flyover ramp to SR 37.

US 31 at SR 38

• US 31 at SR 38 is one lane in each direction with shifting work zone traffic patterns via median crossovers.  US 31 northbound and southbound access to SR 38 is closed.

• SR 38 at US 31 is closed from Anthony Road to Dunbar Road and has no access to US 31.  Reconstruction of SR 38 is expected to be complete by September.

US 31 at Keystone Parkway & 146^th Street

• Northbound Keystone parkway access to US 31 closed for 80 days on Monday, July 30.  The Hagan-Burke Trail will also be closed for up to three consecutive days each week as the northbound Keystone Parkway bridge over Cool Creek is reconstructed.
• US 31 southbound is redirected via median crossovers to share one side of the roadway with northbound traffic between 151^st Street and the Monon Trail, just south of Range Line Road.  Two through lanes are maintained in each direction. 

EAST SIDE:

• I-74 eastbound will have a right lane restriction just east of Post Road (Exit 96) Monday, August 13 through Thursday, August 16 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• I-70 eastbound will have a right lane restriction between Mt. Comfort Road (Exit 96) and State Road 9 (Exit 104) beginning Friday, August 10 at 8 p.m. until Sunday, August 12 at 2 p.m.
• I-70 westbound will have a right lane restriction approaching Mt. Comfort Road (Exit 96) on Saturday, August 11 from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• I-70 in both directions from Post Road (Exit 91) to just east of Mt. Comfort Road (Exit 96) has two lanes of traffic through a construction work zone.  I-70 westbound has a 45 mph work zone speed limit in effect.  I-70 eastbound has shifting traffic patterns with median crossovers. 

WEST SIDE:

• US 136 and Crawfordsville Road has a 30 mph work zone speed limit in effect.  High School Road is restricted to a single lane in each direction north of Crawfordsville Road.
• US 40 at I-465 has two lanes in each direction sharing the south side of the roadway between I-465 and Glen Arm Road.

SOUTH SIDE:

• I-465 in both directions will have a right lane restriction under Keystone Avenue, just west of I-65, beginning Friday, August 10 at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Saturday, August 11.
