Kempton – Friday afternoon, a narcotics investigation by Trooper Ron Fisher and officers from the Tipton County Sheriff’s Department resulted in the arrests of two rural Kempton, IN, residents.

Friday, officers executed a Tipton City Court search warrant on a residence at 26 North County Road 1125 East, rural Kempton, IN. During their search, officers allegedly found six pounds of processed marijuana, prescription medication, $6,000 in Untied States currency, a large collection of silver and gold coins, over 30 firearms, and approximately $2,000 worth of hydroponic growing equipment. Officers also purportedly found 15 marijuana plants in various stages of growth. Some of the plants were found inside a shed on the property while others were allegedly found growing behind the home.

Homeowners, Timothy Robinson, 58, and Lisa Olson, 54, were both incarcerated in the Tipton County Jail. Robinson faces felony charges for cultivating marijuana, dealing marijuana, possession of a scheduled IV narcotic, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of marijuana over 30 grams. Olson was arrested on felony charges for maintaining a common nuisance and possession of marijuana over 30 grams. They each face a misdemeanor count for possession of drug paraphernalia.
