Temporary Stops of US 31
Wednesday at SR 38

WESTFIELD, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractors will temporarily stop traffic on US 31 at State Road 38 on Wednesday, July 25. 

 

Milestone Contractors will be setting beams for the new southbound US 31 bridge overpassing State Road 38.  Milestone will need to stop traffic for approximately 10 minutes at a time between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. as each of the four 116-foot beams are delivered and unloaded.

 

State Road 38 is currently closed between Anthony Road and Dunbar Road and has no access to or from US 31.  Reconstruction of State Road 38 is expected to be complete in September.  US 31 is restricted to a single lane in each direction and is expected to be complete in November.
