Overnight Traffic Shift
On Southbound I-69
Wednesday Night

 

FISHERS, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will shift traffic this week on Interstate 69 near Fishers.  The shift will be on the southbound side approaching the State Road 37 overpass.

 

Both lanes of I-69 southbound traffic will be shifted left toward the median shoulder beginning at 10 p.m. Wednesday, June 13.  One lane at a time will be restricted as crews modify pavement markings to implement the shift.  All lane restrictions and the traffic shift are expected to be complete by 5 a.m. Thursday, June 14.

 

The traffic shift will allow Milestone Contractors to begin work on a new 116th Street exit ramp and to continue construction of a new two-lane flyover ramp connecting northbound I-69 to State Road 37.  The shift will remain in place through this fall.  Southbound I-69 will not have any long-term traffic restrictions this year.
