[ISP] Scott County Man Arrested for Child Molesting

Scott County- Late yesterday afternoon, Detective Brian Busick from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg arrested James Steven Allen, 51, of 5087 West Leota Road, Scottsburg, IN. He was incarcerated in the Scott County Jail on two counts of Child Molest, A Felony.

A complaint was made to the Indiana State Police yesterday afternoon alleging James Steven Allen had molested a child under the age of six in Scott County several years ago.  The arrest came after Trooper Busick and a deputy from the Scott County Sheriff’s Department interviewed James Steven Allen at the Scott County Jail.

Assisting Agency: Scott County Division of Family and Children.

All subjects are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
