[ISP] Washington County Man Arrested after Argument with Brother

Entry Description

Washington County-On today’s date at approximately 8:50 AM, Trooper Nathan Teusch responded to a domestic situation in rural Washington County near Fredericksburg. After he arrived at a residence located at 10286 South Kay’s Chapel Road, he learned that Jeremy T. Yocum’s younger brother came to Jeremy’s residence located at 10286 South Kay’s Chapel Road earlier in the morning. As the brothers began to talk, an argument ensued between them. As the argument heated up, it spilled out into the roadway and other properties in and around 10286 South Kay’s Chapel Road. It ended with Jeremy T. Yocum brandishing a firearm and allegedly firing several shots in the air.

Trooper Nathan Teusch arrested Jeremy T. Yocum, 28, for Criminal Recklessness with a Firearm, D Felony. He was incarcerated in the Washington County Jail.

No one was injured from the shots fired.
