I-465 Restrictions at
Allisonville Road Tonight

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will restrict traffic lanes tonight on Interstate 465 at Allisonville Road.  The double lane restriction will be in the right lanes of eastbound I-465 at the Allisonville Road interchange ramps.

Walsh Construction, the state’s contractor, will restrict the right two lanes of eastbound I-465 at the Allisonville Road interchange beginning at 9 p.m. tonight.  Crews will place pavement markings and temporary concrete barrier along the interchange ramps.

Crews will continue offline construction of the new interchange ramps at I-465 and Allisonville Road over the next several weeks.  The Allisonville Road bridge over I-465 is expected to close after Memorial Day for up to 110 days to construct a single-point urban interchange designed to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow.
