Entry Description
Southern, Indiana- This past St. Patrick’s Day weekend, troopers from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg conducted an Impaired Driving Roadblock in Clark County on Saturday night and performed saturation patrols on Friday and Saturday nights throughout the entire district targeting impaired and dangerous drivers. Troopers issued 248 traffic tickets, 301 warnings and arrested 36 impaired drivers. Troopers also made 16 criminal arrests. The Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg is responsible for patrolling Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott, and Washington counties.
The Indiana State Police will continue to conduct saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints to apprehend impaired drivers and to deter others from drinking and driving. |
