INDOT Selects Contractor to Replace Fayette County Bridge

 

GREENFIELD, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is awarding a contract to replace a Fayette County bridge northeast of Connersville. 

 

INDOT is selecting Sunesis Construction Company to replace Fayette County bridge #81, which spans a tributary of the Whitewater River on County Road 150 East just south of County Road 150 North. 

 

A construction schedule will be established in the near future.  The project is expected to be complete by November 2012.

 

The project is being sponsored by Fayette County.  INDOT provides program administration for Local Public Agency (LPA) sponsored projects, which alleviates additional financial burdens for local communities and provides a means for all communities to participate in federal-aid funding.
