Pike County – Monday afternoon, January 23, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Indiana State Police Detectives Brad Chandler and Tobias Odom arrested Mark Petry, 37, of Oakland City, after a criminal investigation revealed he allegedly had non-consensual sexual relations with a 16-year-old girl on numerous occasions.  He was arrested at his residence without incident and taken to the Pike County Jail where he is currently being held on a $250,000 cash only bond.

Indiana State Police Detectives Chandler and Odom initiated the criminal investigation on January 18th after receiving information Petry had been having sexual relations with the Pike County teen.  During the investigation it was revealed Petry allegedly had non-consensual sexual relations with her numerous times beginning in the summer of 2010.  “Sometime between October and December 2011, Petry allegedly used duct tape to restrain the teen before having sexual relations with her,” said Detective Chandler.
