Sullivan County---An autopsy was conducted this morning on the white male found deceased next to a small power supply station on the plant property of Indiana-Michigan Power. The autopsy was performed by Pathologist Dr. Roland Kohr at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
The victim has been identified as Dustyn Allen Barker, age 38, of Prairieton, Indiana. (Dustyn) is the correct spelling. Family has been notified.
Sullivan County Coroner Jeff Griffith has listed the cause of death as “consistent with electrocution” and the manner of death as “accident”. Toxicology results are pending and could take up to two weeks. Any further questions concerning the autopsy or toxicology results of Mr. Barker should be directed to the Sullivan County Coroner’s Office at 812-249-0297.
The Indiana State Police continue to investigate the death and expect to complete the investigation in approximately one to two weeks. No new information is available or expected.
